One evening in late November 2018, my daughter Janet called me from her apartment in New York City. She asked, "hey Mamma, want to do the Mongol Derby with me?" We gathered up our photos and videos of riding and wrote in our application essays, to our surprise In February 2019 we got accepted into 2020 Derby!
